Dear Yuletide Santa
Should you stumble in here... First of all, thanks for writing me a pressie!:)
I know I made some very specific requests, but don't ya worry. For example, even though I request slash, I am perfectly happy with a friendship story with the characters, should m/m not be your thing. And that het story request with a character not even offered in the list... I am perfectly happy with anything with Ang... I mean Lara;) You wanna write some other pairing, go ahead. I'm not that choosy;) Just make me believe in it! (But if you could sneak that devilishly handsome rogue in there somewhere...;)
As for my general likes... (I am quite obviously requesting a love story here...)
I like humour, but not parodies. Witty dialogue makes my day! I love romantic stories, but a sap-overload just sounds very OOC for most characters. Realism and even a doze of angst make the eventual happy ending that much sweeter.
Yeah, I mentioned that thing about happy endings, didn't I? ;) I adore h/c stories and angst, just as long as I get my happies in the end. I mean, I don't actually want to read a death story at Xmas...
Sex is cool, as explicit as you please, but I usually prefer it to be plot-oriented. BDSM needs careful handling, so mostly I go for the more vanilla stuff. And tasteful fade outs are always a possibility;P
First time stories have a fond place in my heart, and my absolute, all-time favourites are adventure stories with developing relationships on the side, especially those that don't end in the realisation of the mutual feelings but actually have relationship stuff in there... and 'coming outs' are my obsessive pleasure. You know, the scenes where they tell about the relationship to others, or are caught in compromising situations;P Love 'em to bits! ...then again, that would definitely require a longer story...
A bit rambly, this, might try to clean up later after I get down from my OMG-I-signed-to-WHAT!?-high;)
And like I said, despite all this, and my craving for romance, a friendship fic (with witty dialogue) will leave me perfectly happy.
