"I'm starting to reconsider that 'no-wasting' policy," Ian mutters, rubbing his forehead.
"I once saw Ben drop Abigail to save a piece of paper; but I'm not like you people, I can never *be* like you people!"
His own words from months ago came back to him in a flash: "That's not what - who - you are now, Shin."
"It could of course be possible that Jarod has, in fact, fallen in love," Sydney concluded.
”You said there are many versions of the myth, maybe you just read the wrong one.”
And not even when the man's betrayal burnt like poison in his guts did he call that warmth love.
"I made the choice for both of us years ago, I set us on this path, and now we need to walk it to the bitter end."
